Important Information
There are 10 people booked on the challenge so far, which means there are enough for it to definitely go ahead. To stand the best chance of getting on this challenge you will need to book your place right away, as the places are likely to go quickly. At the moment there are about 12 additional places available, each person going will need to book on-line themselves.
1. Book online, direct on the charitychallenge website, via the link below. Please note:
We will be going under the "Self Funder" option. (NOT Community challenge, NOT minimum sponsorship option)
Costs: The cost of the adventure is £445 deposit plus £65 insurance = £510 (pay on registration) plus £1355 balance (pay 8 weeks before you go). That totals £1865.
In addition we challenge you to raise as much as you can for Hope for a Child through sponsorship and fund raising. There is no set amount, but we recommend that you aim for as much as you can over £1200, to enable our projects with children in Uganda. On that basis the total amount to raise would be £3065.
(For Guernsey or other overseas residents In addition there will be a rtn flight to arrange yourself to UK, we recommend going the night before as the flight out from Heathrow is at 11.50am on Wed 19th November 2008.)
